Model is wearing a 15/32. She is a true 34" waist and a solid size 16 in pants. She is 5'9". You can size down if you like your jeans tighter through the legs. Model can also wear the 1xls, it is just a little looser through the legs. Waistband has lots of stretch and doesn't dig in. Between sizes, you can go down.
